Set in the heart of Maida Vale, this once tired and dated flat has been completely reimagined into a refined contemporary home. What was previously a worn, compartmentalised interior with poor natural flow has been stripped back to its core and rebuilt with clarity, light, and modern living in mind.

The project began with a full internal demolition, removing decades of layered finishes and redundant partitions. By opening up the layout, we created a seamless connection between the living, dining, and kitchen areas, transforming the space into a bright and inviting environment. Structural adjustments allowed for improved circulation and maximised natural light throughout.

A calm, neutral material palette was chosen to enhance the sense of space — warm engineered oak flooring, soft-toned walls, and bespoke joinery crafted to introduce texture and depth without overwhelming the interiors. The kitchen was redesigned as a focal point, featuring clean-lined cabinetry, integrated appliances, and understated stone worktops that combine elegance with functionality.

In the bathroom, dated fixtures were replaced with contemporary fittings, large-format tiles, and streamlined sanitaryware to create a spa-like atmosphere. Carefully considered lighting design — including recessed LEDs, feature pendants, and layered ambient lighting — elevates the mood from day to night.

Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from concealed storage solutions to high-quality finishes, resulting in a home that feels both sophisticated and effortless.

The transformation has turned a once overlooked flat into a modern gem — a bright, elegant residence that reflects the character of Maida Vale while offering all the comfort and practicality of contemporary living.
